A best-seller and a staff favorite, No. 0008 Black Gold Garlic Pepper is a heavyweight in the kitchen. Filled with pungent California garlic, salt, pepper and other herbs, this blend is an elevated version of the garlic powder you already sprinkle on everything.

One of our OG seasoning blends, Black Gold was formerly known as California Garlic Pepper before getting a new identity and makeover. The quality of ingredients and flavor remain the same. The versatility of this blend also makes it great on:

Our No. 0008 seasoning blend is a versatile blend that pairs well with a variety of dishes. This blend strikes flavor gold with a blend of:

Garlic: The garlic in this blend is sourced from California, which produces 90% of commercial garlic grown in the United States. When ground into powder, garlic tastes much sweeter than its raw counterpart.

Black Pepper: A staple in all types of dishes, black peppercorns are the fruits of a flowering vine in the Piperaceae family that have their telltale bite when dried. Used in almost every cuisine, pepper is the most traded spice worldwide.

Onion: Onion powder adds a sweet and savory flavor to certain dishes that you can’t get from fresh onions.

Red Bell Pepper: Red bell peppers are distinctively sweet and are very mild, even when dried. The sweetness helps balance the sharpness of the garlic and black pepper.

Oregano: This aromatic herb has a pungent flavor that has earthy/musty, green, and minty notes. Used in a variety of cuisines, it adds depth to No. 0008.

Recipes
