PS Seasoning & Pro Smoker Support Iron Ridge Community Park Renovation

PS Seasoning is proud to announce its support of the upcoming Iron Ridge Fireman’s Park renovation. The donation from the Hanni family will kickstart a series of updates which include a new playground, restrooms, beautification and landscaping, court resurfacing, concessions and .

Renovation work is set to break ground in June with the construction of a state-of-the-art playground with 3-pod system, swing set, benches, and a ZipVenture® zip line. The equipment, provided by BCI Burke and Lee Recreation, is designed to stimulate healthy development through cognitive and sensory play. The various structures of the playground feature interactive play systems appropriate for preschool through school-aged children.

The playground is renovated in memory of Ken Hanni, co-founder of PS Seasoning, Pro Smoker, and longtime community advocate and volunteer. Ken’s achievements go beyond building two successful companies—he was a selfless philanthropist and supporter of Iron Ridge and beyond. "Ken believed in paying it forward at any given opportunity,” said Joe Hanni, president of PS Seasoning. “Our family is pleased to carry on his vision and excited to see the families of Iron Ridge and surrounding communities enjoying the new park.”

For members of the Iron Ridge community, Hanni is remembered as a dedicated civic leader who left a legacy of service. “We’re grateful to PS Seasoning, Pro Smoker and the Hanni family for their contribution,” said Iron Ridge Village President Brian Esselman. “The state-of-the-art facility incorporates educational and creative-based play structures and symbolizes the Hanni family’s impact on the community.”
