Did you forget to get that special someone flowers? Have no fear, we got you covered with this quick and easy recipe for roses... you can eat.
Ingredients
- 1 LB – Bacon (not thick cut)
-
3 TB – Bee Sting Hot Honey Rub
- 1 Cup – Chocolate Chips
- 5 TB – Heavy Cream
Directions
- Preheat your Oven to 350 degrees.
- Lay out a piece of bacon and stitch in a skewer to one end of the slice, this will help you roll your rose.
- Roll the bacon up about 1/3 of the way and then start twisting the bacon as you continue to wrap it around. The final product should look like a rose!
- Use a toothpick to secure the “petals” and then you can remove the skewer.
- Place the toothpicked roses onto a sheet tray.
- Season the tops of the roses with Bee Sting Hot Honey rub.
- Bake in the oven for 35-45 minutes until the edges of the bacon roses are dark brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and allow the roses to rest while you make the ganache.
- Add the chocolate chips and heavy cream to a microwave safe bowl.
- Microwave for 55 seconds.
- Remove and stir/whisk until smooth.
- Drizzle the bacon roses with the chocolate and then allow to cool.
- Enjoy!
