Ingredients
- 8 – Turkey Legs

½ C – Rodeo Rub
- 16 Slice – Bacon
-
¾ C – Peach Buzz BBQ Sauce
Directions
- Preheat grill/smoker to 300 degrees.
- 1 ½” down from the skinny end of the bone, make a cut around the bone to remove the skin. Use the knife to carefully remove the skin and cartilage from the end of the bone. The bone should be fully exposed.
- Push the meat down toward the other end creating a lollipop look to the leg.
- Use a pliers to pull out the tendons.
- Season the legs generously with Rodeo Rub.
- Wrap each drumstick with 2 slices of bacon, secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Place on the smoker and cook for 60-70 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 260 degrees internally.
- Baste the meat with the Peach Buzz BBQ sauce and continue to cook until the internal temp reaches 165 degrees by the bones.
- Rest for 5 minutes, then enjoy!
