Ingredients
- 8 OZ – Salmon
-
2 T – Bee Sting Hot Honey Rub
- 4 Slice – Sourdough Bread
- 6 Slice – Bacon
- 4 Slice – Havarti Cheese
- 4 Slice – Gouda
- 1 - Jalapeno
Directions
- Trim the salmon if needed and slice the jalapeno thin.
- Preheat the flattop to 350 degrees.
- Place the bacon down and cook to your liking.
- Set the bacon aside and scrape ½ of the rendered fat away.
- Season the salmon generously with Bee Sting Hot Honey rub.
- Sear the salmon off, cooking it to an internal temperature of 155 degrees.
- While the salmon is cooking, start the grilled cheese.
- Lay the bread down, using some of the bacon fat to help toast the bread.
- Distribute the cheese evenly between the bread.
- Sauté the jalapeno.
- Build the grilled cheese.
- Press down on the salmon to break it apart into flakes. Spread evenly between the two sandwiches.
- Add on the sauteed jalapeno and cooked bacon, then fold over the sandwiches.
- Once the cheese is well melted, you’re ready to serve!
