4 oz. | Mushrooms, quartered, frozen |
1 T | Olive Oil |
1 T | Shallot, minced |
1 tsp | Thyme, chopped |
2 T | Sherry |
1 tsp | Soy Sauce |
1/2 tsp | Buried Treasure Truffle Butter |
2 oz. | Fresh Mushrooms, thinly sliced |
2 cloves | Garlic, thinly sliced |
1/2 tsp | Thyme, fresh |
4 oz. | Mozzarella, fresh & crumbled |
2 oz. | Prosciutto, thinly sliced |
1 T | Parmesan, grated |
Olive Oil, for drizzling |
Instructions:
-
Prepare sauce by adding frozen mushrooms to a food processor. Process for 15 seconds.
-
In a medium skillet heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add shallot and thyme and sauté for 1 minute, then whisk in sherry, thyme, soy sauce, and Buried Treasure. Sauté another minute, then add mushrooms. Stir constantly until mushrooms absorb all liquid. Set aside to cool.
-
Set pizza stone inside oven and preheat to 500 degrees F.
-
On a lightly floured surface, roll/stretch out dough to form a 12 to 16 inch disc. Remove stone from oven and place dough on top of stone. The dough will start to cook immediately, so it is important to work quickly. Spread mushroom sauce over pizza dough. Then add sliced mushroom, garlic, fresh thyme, mozzarella and prosciutto.
-
Place pizza in the oven and turn the oven on broil. Broil for 3 to 6 minutes, until cheese starts to bubble and slightly caramelize. Remove from oven and drizzle with olive oil and additional Buried Treasure.
