Great for any gameday, tailgating, and Superbowl party these little Chicken Fried Prime Rib Bites will have you wanting more! Diced, Breaded, and Sautéed in Buttermilk served with Country Gravy these bites are crispy and a fan favorite.
Ingredients
2 Lbs – Prime Time Prime Rib (leftover) (link recipe)
3 C – Flour

1 t – Black Gold Garlic Pepper
1 C – Buttermilk
4 Links – Breakfast sausage
2 T – Flour
1 C – Milk
2 T – Buttermilk
To Taste – Salt and Pepper
Country Gravy
Directions
To make the gravy, cut the breakfast sausage into a medium dice and place in a medium saucepan.
Sauté the sausage until cooked and fat in rendered.
Add flour and cook 2 minutes. While stirring, slowly add milk.
Simmer until thickened and hold warm while preparing the prim rib bites.
Trim excess fat off the prime rib and then cut into 1” pieces.
Set up a breading station. In one tray combine the flour and Black Gold, and in another pour the buttermilk.
Preheat fryer to 350 degrees.
Bread the bites by rolling 4 to 5 pieces in the flour. Shake off excess flour and then coat them in the buttermilk.
Allow excess buttermilk to drip off and then roll in the flour once again.
Fry for 4-5 minutes until the breading is golden brown and crispy.
Plate and serve with a drizzle of country gravy.
