Ingredients
-
2 C Dried Chickpeas -Garbanzo Beans
-
1 C Cilantro Leaves Only, Not Chopped
-
1 C Parsley Leaves Only, Not Chopped
-
1 Onion- Rough Chop
-
5 Clove Garlic
-
2 tsp Ground Coriander
-
2 tsp Ground Cumin
-
2 tsp Open Sesame Everything Bagel
-
2 T Chickpea Flour - More if needed
Directions
Place the dried chickpeas in a container or bowl and add water until the beans are covered by 2” of water.
Wrap and set out at room temperature for 24 hours.
Drain the beans and rinse well with cold water.
Place all ingredients except for the chickpea flour in a food processor and blend until a coarse texture is achieved.
Add chickpea flour and blend until mixed well.
The mixture should not be too tacky, but you should be able to form 2” diameter balls and have them hold together. If the mixture is too wet, add more chickpea flour.
Form the mix into 2” balls and preheat the air fryer for 400 degrees.
Spray the bottom of the basket for the air fryer and place the falafel in, leaving space for air flow. You can probably cook all the falafel in two batches.
Cook for 12-15 minutes until cooked through and crispy on the outside.
Dip in Tzatziki or tahini sauce. Enjoy!
