4 T Butter
-
3 Slices Mozzarella Cheese

-
3 American Cheese
-
2 Slices Swiss Cheese
-
1 Onion- Julienned

Directions
Season burger patty generously with Grate State Seasoning. Pre-heat the grill. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
Over medium high heat, in a medium sized sauté pan, caramelize the onion with 1 TB of olive oil.
Butter one side of the bread and toast lightly in a large skillet or sauté pan.
Remove the bread from sauté pan and place on a sheet tray.
Evenly distribute the cheese over the two pieces of bread. Save 1 slice of American and mozzarella for the burger. Bake for 5-6 minutes until the cheese is well melted. Remove from the oven and add the sliced tomato, caramelized onion and 3 pieces of bacon.
Grill burger to desired temp and finish by melting the remaining cheese on top.
Build the grilled cheese and cut in half. Use each half of the grilled cheese as the buns for the burger.
