Ingredients

1 1/4 Lb Boneless Chicken Thighs

2 Cups Panko Bread Crumbs

2 Cups Plain Bread Crumbs- Fine

4 T Honky Tonk Hot Chicken Rub

2 Cups Buttermilk

1 Cup Cooking Oil
-
2 Cups Waffle Mix( makes 4 waffles)

1 Cup Honky Tonk Nashville Hot Sauce

1/4 Cup Honey
Directions
Season the thighs with the Honky Tonk Rub and place in the buttermilk and allow to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
Combine the two bread crumbs with 2 TB on Honky Tonk Rub.
Pre heat the oil in a small/medium sized skillet or sauté pan. (350 degrees)
Coat the buttermilk soaked chicken in the bread crumbs and fry for 3 minutes on each side, or until the breading is well set.
Remove from the oil and place on a baking tray. Bake for another 10-15 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
While the chicken is cooking, make 4 Belgian waffles.
When chicken is cooked, toss in the Honky Tonk sauce and plate with the waffles.
Drizzle with honey.
