Ingredients
- 1 ½ LB – Chicken Thighs, boneless/skinless
- 1 Cup – Buttermilk

½ Cup – Honky Tonk Nashville Hot Chicken Sauce
- 3 Cup – Flour

3 TB – Honky Tonk Nashville Hot Chicken Rub
- Creamy Cole Slaw
- Pickle Chips
- Brioche Buns
Directions
- Combine the chicken thighs, buttermilk and Honky Tonk sauce in a bowl and mix until well incorporated.
- Combine the flour and Honky Tonk rub together in a bowl and mix well.
- Preheat the fryer to 350 degrees.
- Take a piece of chicken out of the buttermilk and allow excess liquid to drip off.
- Toss the chicken in the seasoned flour until well coated.
- Dip the chicken back in the buttermilk and then again into the seasoned flour for a double breading.
- Fry the chicken for 7-8 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
- Set on a tray to drip dry.
- Build your sandwiches by adding a scoop of creamy cole slaw to a bottom bun. Place the fried chicken down and drizzle with more Honky Tonk sauce. Top with pickles and finish with the top bun.
