Oktoberfest Beer Can Chicken
Brew up some serious flavor with our Oktoberfest-inspired Beer Can Chicken. Oktoberfest is more than just a festival, it's a seasonal beer style that signals the start of fall. Traditionally a copper-colored lager, Oktoberfest beers have a toasty, malty sweetness that adds amazing flavors and moistness to your traditional roasted chicken.

Ingredients: | |
1 | Whole Chicken, about 3-4 lbs. |
1 can | Oktoberfest Beer (12 oz) |
2 T | Fly the Coop Poultry Blend |
Instructions:
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat, or 425° F.
- Rinse whole chicken under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Thoroughly season the chicken, including the cavity, with poultry seasoning.
- Sit the chicken on top of the beer can, then place in the center of the preheated grill and cover. Cook the chicken for 45-50 min, or until an instant-read thermometer registers 165° F.
- Remove from grill, and allow to rest 15-20 minutes. Remove can from the cavity, carve and serve.
