Ingredients
- 2 LB – Ground Beef

5 T- Blue Ribbon BBQ Style Rub
- ½ - Red Bell Pepper, small dice
- ½ - Green Bell Pepper, small dice
- 1 – Small Onion, small dice
- 3 Clove – Garlic, thinly slices

½ C – Brown Sugar
- 1 can – Tomato Sauce

½ C – Blue Ribbon BBQ Sauce

1 T – Worcestershire Sauce
- Brioche Buns
Directions
- Preheat smoker or grill to 275 degrees.
- Combine the peppers, onions and garlic in a large dutch oven and then stir in the tomato sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and Blue Ribbon BBQ Sauce. Stir until well combined.
- Season the ground beef with the Blue Ribbon rub and mix together with your hand until well combined. Then for into a round loaf.
- Place the loaf on a wire rack and place that on top on the dutch oven, so that while it cooks the juices will run into the sauce.
- Place the pot on the smoker and cook for 1 ½ hours or until the meat reaches 145 degrees.
- Remove the meat from the smoker and crumble, then and the meat to the sauce and stir to combine.
- Allow the sloppy joe mix to cook on the smoker for an additional 1 to 1 ½ hours until the desired consistency.
- Serve on a brioche bun and enjoy!
