Smoked Dirty Martini Shredded Beef
A classic cocktail meets easy dinner. Olive lovers will love this briny shredded beef inspired by a gin martini. Chuck roast is smoked then braised with gin, vermouth, and a whole jar of green olives. Shred and serve on buns (gin martini optional).

Ingredients
- 3 ½ LB – Chuck Roast

½ Cup – Prime Time Butcher’s Blend
- 1 ½ Cup – Beef Stock/Broth
- 4 oz – Dry Gin
- 2 oz – Dry Vermouth
- 1 Jar (10 oz) – Martini Olives
- Slider buns and fresh olives for serving
Directions
- Preheat your smoker to 225 degrees.
- Season the chuck roast generously with Prime Time and allow to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Place the chuck roast directly on the smoker.
- Smoke for 2-3 hours until the internal temp reaches 150 degrees.
- Place the chuck roast in an aluminum pan.
- Pour in the beef stock, gin, vermouth and the whole jar of olives (including the brine).
- Cover the pan with foil and place back on the smoker.
- Increase the temperature of the smoker to 300 degrees.
- Smoke for an additional 3-5 hours until the beef is tender and easy to shred.
- Remove from the smoker and allow to rest at room temp for 20 minutes.
- Remove the beef from the pan and shred in a bowl.
- Add the cooked olives and shred or chop into the beef.
- Add some of the cooking liquid to taste and then serve.
- Serve the shredded beef on slider buns topped with a fresh olive for garnish.
