Ingredients
- 2 – Dry Aged NY Strip Steaks, 12oz each

2 T – BBQ General SPG Rub

1 T – Olive Oil
-
2 T – Butter
- 3 Clove – Garlic
- 2 Sprig - Thyme

Reserve 50 Dry Ager
Directions
- Season the steaks generously with BBQ General SPG Rub and let them rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over high heat until it just starts to smoke.
- Add oil and then press the steaks down into the pan.
- Cook 2 minutes.
- Flip the steaks and again, press them into the pan (this helps with the crust)
- Cook 2 minutes.
- Reduce the temperature of the heat to medium and add the garlic cloves, butter and thyme.
- Use a spoon to baste the meat constantly for 1 ½ minutes.
- Remove the steak from the pan and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
- Enjoy!
