Ingredients
- 3 LB – Ground Beef
-
2 TB – Umami Butter Burger Blend
- 12 – Slider Buns (or King’s Hawaiian Rolls)
- 1 – Onion
- 2 TB – Butter or Cooking Oil
- 24 Slice – American Cheese
Directions
- Preheat griddle or flattop to 350 degrees.
Form the ground beef into 2 oz meatballs (24 of them.)
- Thinly slice the onion.
- Toss the onion on the flattop and add cooking oil.
- Cook, stirring and tossing occasionally until they are caramelized to your liking.
- Remove the onions and set aside.
- Keeping the pack intact, slice the slider buns in half. Place both the top and the bottom on the flattop to toast for about 2 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Place a few of the meatballs on the flattop and smash with a burger press until they are about 1/8” thick. Season with Umami Butter.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes until the meat is caramelized.
- Flip the burgers and immediately top with a slice of American cheese. Melt for 30 seconds.
- Remove the burgers from the flattop and start layering them onto the bottom buns.
- Repeat the process until all the meatballs are cooked and laid out on the buns.
- Top the burgers with the caramelized onion and finish by topping with the top buns.
- Serve as pull apart burger sliders or cut into individual sliders.
- Enjoy!
