2 T | Butter, unsalted |
1 T | Olive Oil |
8 oz. | Wild Mushroom Blend (fresh) |
1/2 cup | Yellow Onion, finely diced |
1 cup | Brown Ale |
1/2 tsp | Black Gold Garlic Pepper |
1/2 tsp | Buried Treasure Truffle Butter |
1/8 tsp | Kosher Salt |
Burger Patties | |
1 1/3 lb. | Ground Beef, (85/15 blend) |
1/2 tsp | Buried Treasure Truffle Butter |
1/2 tsp | Black Gold Garlic Pepper |
1/4 tsp | Kosher Salt |
4 slices | Muenster Cheese |
2-4 | Kaiser Rolls or Pretzel Buns |
Instructions:
-
Preheat grill to 425° F. In a medium-sized skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and sauté 3 to 5 minutes, until mushrooms begin to caramelize. Add onion and seasonings and sauté an additional 3 minutes. Deglaze with beer.
-
Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer mushrooms for 3 to 5 minutes, until beer is absorbed. Set aside.
-
In a mixing bowl, gently combine ground beef and seasonings. Do not over mix. Create 4 - 1/3 lb. patties by hand and gently press down in the middle of the patty (Doing this will prevent the burger from doming up while cooking).
-
Grill each patty to preference. For medium-rare/medium, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Top each patty with cheese and cover grill to melt.
-
Transfer cheeseburgers to desired bun and top with wild mushrooms. Serve immediately.
