A clear colored casing used mainly for summer sausage, salami and other smoked sausages. Available in a variety of sizes. Sold in bundles of 25 casings. 

10 = ~22.5lbs
25 = 50lbs

Note: Before stuffing, Soak in warm water 20-30 minutes.

Approximate stuffing weight:

• 2½" x 14" - 2 Lbs
• 2½" x 20" - 3½ Lbs

How To Use

Fibrous Casings should be soaked for at least 25-30 minutes in warm water (80-100 deg). Lay casings in water flat and submerge completely, tied end lower so that the trapped air can escape. After soaking, squeeze excess water of out of the summer sausage casings then start stuffing!

casings

This was the first batch of clear fibrous casings that I have received from you that had tiny holes through them. Is that the new way? I would prefer the ones with out holes, it seems to hold the juices in better. I want to try the cherry chipotle snax stick but you are out, I hope you get that in soon. Everything I get from you has been great, Thanks Marc.

Thought I was buying casings for sausage but these looked to be about 2.5” diameter which Would be more for salami.

There was no response from you when I emailed your customer service contact.
