You're never too old for a PB&J! Treat yourself to the Backyard PB&J Smash Burger. This sandwich is a delicious throwback to carefree afternoons, where every bite is jam-packed with nostalgia and flavors that take you back to the good ol' days.
Ingredients
- 1 LB – Ground Beef
- 2 TB – Backyard Better Burger Seasoning
- 24 Slice – Texas Toast
- 1 Cup – Peanut Butter
- 1 Cup – Jelly
- 2 Cups – Kettle Cooked Potato Chips
Directions
- Preheat griddle to 350 degrees.
- Build your PB&J sandwiches, double decker style. Bread, peanut butter, bread, jelly and bread.
- Portion the ground beef into 2 oz meatballs and head to the griddle.
- Place your meatballs down on the griddle and press to ¼” thick.
- Season with Backyard seasoning and flip once caramelized.
- Set cooked patties aside.
- Place your PB&Js on the griddle and press down to flatten, down to about 1” thick.
- Toast on both sides and then build your burgers.
- Place two burger patties on a sandwich and top with potato chips.
- Place another PB&J on top and serve.
- Enjoy!
