Ingredients
-
2.5 Lb Tomahawk Steak
-
1/4 Cup El Jefe Adobo Honey Taco Seasoning & Rub
-
16 Corn Tortillas
-
1 Yellow Pepper- Julienned
-
1 Red Pepper- Julienned
-
1 Green Pepper- Julienned
-
1 Onion- Julienned
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 225 degrees.
Generously season the tomahawk with El Jefe Taco seasoning and place on a rack lined sheet tray.
Place in the oven for 60-70 or until the internal temp is 120 degrees.
While the tomahawk is in the oven, preheat the grill to 500 degrees.
Also, while the tomahawk is in the oven, sauté the peppers and onions in oil until tender and season with more El Jefe Taco Seasoning. Set aside and hold hot.
Once the steak comes to desired temp in the oven, place on the grill over direct heat for 2-3 minutes each side for a good sear.
Allow the meat to rest for 10-15 minutes before cutting.
Heat tortillas and serve.
