Ingredients

2 Lb Tri Tip- Trimmed

4 T El Jefe Adobo Honey Taco Seasoning & Rub

1 Stick Butter
-
2 T El Jefe Adobo Honey Seasoning

1t Parsley- Chopped
Directions
Preheat the smoker to 225 degrees.
Season the tri tip generously with El Jefe.
Over high heat, in a pan with a little cooking oil. Sear off the tri tip on both sides.
Place on the smoker for 1 to 2 hours depending on size. Start checking the temperature of the meat after 1 hour. Remove from the smoker when the internal temp is 120 degrees.
Allow the meat to rest.
Combine softened butter with 2 TB El Jefe and chopped parsley.
Slice the meat against the grain and on a slight bias.
Serve with the chili butter and enjoy.
