We're into jalapeno popper anything and these jalapeno popper hot dogs are no exception. A snappy homemade hot dog gets nestled in with a jalapeno then wrapped in bacon and grilled until crisp. Top it off with a cream cheese spread on pretzel bun and you'll never want a regular hot dog again.
Ingredients
-
6 Hot Dogs
-
6 Pretzel Hot Dog Buns
-
8 oz Cream Cheese
-
2 T Bacon Bomb Hickory Jalapeno
-
6 Jalapenos
-
12 Slices Bacon
Directions
Preheat smoker or grill to 350 degrees F
Cut the stems off the jalapenos and cut in ½ from one end to the other. Remove seeds.
Wrap the pepper around the hot dog and then wrap with bacon. Most likely will need two pieces of bacon per hotdog.
Place on the grill over indirect heat for 25-30 minutes or until the bacon is fully cooked.
Toast the hot dog buns if desired and spread the inside of the buns with cream cheese. Season with Bacon Bomb.
Place the hotdogs in the buns and enjoy!
