Seasoned in our Cock-A-Doodle-Brew Beer Can chicken rub and smothered in our Tangy Memphis King BBQ Sauce you won't be able to just have one of these smoked chicken burnt ends.
Ingredients
- 2 LB – Chicken Thighs

½ C – Cock-A-Doodle Brew Beer Can Chicken Rub

1 ½ C – Memphis King Tangy BBQ Sauce
- 1 Stick – Butter, cubed
- 16 Slices – Bacon, Thick cut
Directions
- Set smoker to 250 degrees
- Cut the chicken into 2” pieces and then season them generously with Cock-A-Doodle Brew Rub
- Wrap each piece with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Place the chicken in the smoker, directly on the racks and smoke for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Place the chicken in a foil pan or oven safe pan.
- Cover the ends in Memphis BBQ Sauce and drop in the butter
- Smoke for an additional 30 minutes
- Increase heat of the smoker/grill smoker to 400 degrees.
- Sear off the burnt ends briefly, about 1 minute each side, to crisp up the bacon
- Allow to rest and then serve drizzled with the bbq sauce from the pan.
