Let us sweeten the deal with lots of minis! These Pineapple Cuban Sliders are traditional Cubans loaded with hunks of ham and tropical pineapple slices to a fun summer zest of flavor to a slider bun! Can you take the heat?!
Ingredients
-
1 Lb Notorious P.I.G. Pulled Pork (See Recipe)
-
12 Slider Buns
-
½ Pineapple Sliced
-
1 Cup Dill Pickle Chips
-
4 T Dijon Mustard
-
4 Slices Swiss Cheese
-
½ Lb Sliced Ham
Directions
Preheat flattop or griddle to 325 degrees.
To build the sliders, slice the slider buns in half and spread each side with Dijon mustard.
Layer on the ham, pulled pork, pineapple, pickles and Swiss cheese.
Replace the top bun and squish the slider to make sure all the fillings stay in and don’t push out.
Place the sliders on a lightly greased griddle.
Wrap a cast iron pan in foil to use as a press.
Place the press on top of the sliders to flatten.
Cook the sliders on each side for about 4 minutes, replacing the press when you flip.
Cook until the bread is well toasted, and the inside of the sandwich is hot.
Enjoy!
