Grab a napkin or two you're going to need it! This Queso stuffed burger oozes with flavor. Make with our El Capitan taco rub and Velveeta cheese, you won't be able to resist this burger.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ LB – Ground Beef
- 1 Can – Rotel

3 T – El Capitan Taco Rub
- 4 oz – Velveta Cheese
- 2 – Bell Peppers
- 1 – Onion

2 T – Oil
- 4 – Burger Buns
- Lettuce
Directions
- Mix the ground beef, Rotel and El Capitan together in a bowl and mix until well incorporated.
- Form the meat into 8 equal patties, about 5” wide.
- Place a 1 oz slice of velveta in the center of one patty and then top it with another patty.
- Seal the edges to finish the burgers.
- Julienne the peppers and onion.
- Sauté in oil until tender and set aside.
- Preheat the grill to 400 degrees
- Grill the burgers to your desired temperature.
- Build the burgers starting with some lettuce, a grilled burger and topped with sauteed peppers and onions.
