Smoky Sweet Potato Salad
You'll be bringing home an empty bowl at your next BBQ or potluck with this Smoky Sweet Potato Salad. This upgrade of traditional potato salad has sweet potatoes, buttermilk, bacon, cheddar and our smoky hickory maple blend.
Smoky Sweet Potato Salad

3 cups | Idaho Potatoes |
2 | Sweet Potatoes |
1 cup | Mayonnaise |
1 cup | Sour Cream |
2 T | Buttermilk |
1 T | Spicy Brown Mustard |
2 T |
Lumberjack Hickory Maple |
1 cup | Bacon Pieces |
1 cup | Cheddar Cheese, shredded |
1/4 cup | Scallions, chopped |
Instructions:
- Place potatoes in a pot and cover with cold water.
- Set pot on the stove and bring to a boil. Boil potatoes for 20 minutes, until fork tender. Strain potatoes, cool, then peel and dice large.
- Meanwhile, prepare the dressing: Add mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, mustard, and Lumberjack in a mixing bowl. Whisk to combine, then fold in bacon bits, cheddar, and scallions.
- Add potatoes to dressing. Toss to coat, then cover and refrigerate for one hour prior to serving.
