Our Umami Smoke Bombs recipe, inspired by the smoke bomb firework, is an easy and unique grilling idea perfect for summer! With just a few ingredients—baby bella mushrooms, ground beef, and cheese—these savory bites will bring ooh's and ahh's, just like watching a firework show!
Ingredients
- ¾ LB – Ground Beef
-
1 ½ TB – Umami Butter Burger Blend
- 18 – Baby Bella Mushrooms
- 3 oz – Parmesan Cheese
- 1 – Vidalia Onion
- 2 TB – Olive Oil
Directions
- Dice the onion and place in a skillet with olive oil. Cook over medium heat, stirring often until caramelized.
- Cool the onions completely.
- Once cooled, combine the onions, ground beef and Umami Butter Burger blend in a bowl until well mixed and slightly tacky.
- Remove the stems from the baby bella mushrooms and set them on a rack.
- Stuff each mushroom with meat mixture. The amount will depend on the size of each mushroom cap.
- Preheat grill/smoker to 325 degrees.
- Place the mushrooms, still on the rack, onto the smoker.
- Cook for 20-30 minutes until the meat is fully cooked and the mushrooms are tender.
- Slice the parmesan cheese into pieces just big enough to top the stuffed mushrooms.
- Top the mushrooms with cheese and continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Stick a frill pick in the smoke bomb to be the wick.
- Enjoy!
