A fan favorite made with a twist! Venison Philly Cheesesteak has all the makings of your favorite cheesesteak, but a leaner twist. The perfect way to use your vension!
Ingredients
- 1 LB – Venison, whole muscle

3 T – Olive Oil
- 1 – Onion
- 1 – Green Pepper
- 2 oz – Button Mushrooms

2 T – Wild Game Hunter’s Blend
- 4 Slice – Provolone Cheese
- 2 – French Rolls
Directions
- Cut the meat into strips like stir fry.
- Heat the flattop or skillet to medium high heat.
- Add olive oil to the flattop and place down the onions and peppers to sauté.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften. Add mushrooms and cook for 3 minutes.
- Push the vegetables to the side and then add the meat to the flattop.
- Season generously with Wild Game seasoning.
- Once cooked, mix the meat together with the vegetables.
- Toast the French rolls.
- Shape the filling into 2 “sandwich” shapes and top each one with 2 slices of provolone cheese.
- Once the cheese melts, place the filling onto the French rolls.
- Top and enjoy!
