Ingredients
- 1 ½ LB – Ground Beef
- 1 TB – Backyard Burger Blend
- 16 Slice – American Cheese
- 2 LB – Onions
- 4 TB – Butter
- 4 – Brioche Burger Buns
- 1 Cup – Unsalted Butter, softened (2 Sticks)
- 1 – Zest from 1 Lemon
- ½ - Lemon, juiced
- 1 tsp – Crushed Red Pepper
- 1 tsp – Thyme, fresh chopped
- 2 TB – Parsley, chopped
- 2 tsp – Bier Hall Stone Ground Mustard
- ½ tsp – Backyard Burger Blend
- 1 TB – Garlic, minced
Cowboy Butter
Directions
- Peel and julienne the onions and place them in a large skillet with 4 TB of butter.
- Place over medium heat until the onions just start to brown.
- Lower the heat to low and cook the onions until caramelized, stirring occasionally.
- Make the cowboy butter by combining the listed ingredients and mixing well.
- Portion the ground beef into 16 portioned meatballs, 1 ½ oz each.
- Preheat your griddle to 350 degrees.
- Place a meatball down on the griddle and press with a heavy-duty spatula or burger press until ¼” thick.
- Season with Backyard Burger Blend and flip once the meat is caramelized.
- Top with American cheese.
- Repeat with the remaining meat.
- Toast your burger buns and then build.
- Place 4 stacked burger patties on a bottom bun and top with caramelized onions.
- Spread a few tablespoons of cowboy butter on the top bun and stack on top of the burgers.
